Gillardeau Speciale oysters are delivered to us with a bucket of seawater from France.
The smell of sea water wafts from the open shell. Smooth and chewy, leaving a refreshing nutty aftertaste.
Gillardeau Spёciale oysters are fresh, plump and juicy, thanks to more than a century of experience of the family in growing oysters. Each oyster was grown on average for at least four years. During the process, water quality, depth and salinity are strictly controlled and adjusted to ensure the highest quality oysters. The oysters are then sent to Claire’s Pond to grow fat. After careful care, they are sent to the markets for sale.
Oysters taste fresh and sweet. There is nothing more exciting than opening a shell with an oyster knife and serving it right away. Before opening, rinse the shell with water to remove all impurities so as not to spoil their perfect taste. A live oyster will shrink and twist. The light saltiness of the seawater inside is the essence of enjoying oysters without seasoning.
